Frequently asked questions
Absolutely! A bridal trial is included in all bridal prices. Trials typically take place 1–3 months before the wedding. I will send out a link to book your trial in around 6 months before your big day.
Other bridal party members are welcome to have a trial, however this is not a necessity and will incur an extra fee.
Come with a clean, moisturized face and dry clean hair. I'll send you a form a few weeks before your trial to get you thinking about your look, and feel free to wear white or something similar to your dress colour for a better visual.
For the wedding day, we will discuss any pre needed one the day of your trial.
A signed contract and a non refundable booking fee of £100 secures your date in my diary. A fee of £100 for hair and makeup and £50 for just hair / makeup, is due on the day of your trial. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding.
A minimum booking of £350 is required on Saturdays (March–October) and Bank Holidays.

Cancellations, including a reduction in services, by the client must be made (90) days prior to your reserved date or you will be responsible for the amount of services agreed upon in your contract, deposits and trial fees will not be refunded under any circumstance (this includes a deduction in services). In the unlikely event that the hair/makeup artist at any time and for any reason is unable to perform her duties, Katie agrees: to immediately give notice to the client, assist in finding a substitute artist, excuse the client of any further performance and/or any payment obligations in this agreement. Any fees already paid will be returned in full.
Yes, we’re a fully mobile service! All pricing includes travel up to 20 miles from LE67 3TL for both the trial and wedding day. Locations outside a 20-mile radius will incur a mileage fee of 55p per mile (two-way). Travel exceeding 45 minutes (one-way) will incur an additional £5 per 45 minutes (return journey).
