  • What is your payment and cancellation policy?
A signed contract and a non refundable booking fee of £100 secures your date in my diary. A fee of £100 for hair and makeup and £50 for just hair / makeup, is due on the day of your trial. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding. A minimum booking of £350 is required on Saturdays (March–October) and Bank Holidays. Cancellations, including a reduction in services, by the client must be made (90) days prior to your reserved date or you will be responsible for the amount of services agreed upon in your contract, deposits and trial fees will not be refunded under any circumstance (this includes a deduction in services). In the unlikely event that the hair/makeup artist at any time and for any reason is unable to perform her duties, Katie agrees: to immediately give notice to the client, assist in finding a substitute artist, excuse the client of any further performance and/or any payment obligations in this agreement. Any fees already paid will be returned in full.
  • How far in advance should I book you?
I recommend booking around 10 - 18 months months in advance, especially for peak wedding seasons (spring and summer). This ensures your date is secured and allows time for a trial and planning.
  • How long does hair and makeup take on the wedding day?
Bridal hair and makeup usually takes about an hour for each. For other bridal party members we usually leave around 45 minutes to 1 hour per service. We’ll create a custom timeline for a smooth, stress-free morning, which we will discus at your trial.
  • What products do you use?
I use professional, high-performance products designed to last all day and photograph beautifully. Brands may include YSL, Charlotte Tilbury, Dior, and many others. All my products are tried and tested.
  • Can you accommodate large bridal parties?
Yes! I often work with bridal parties of all sizes. For larger groups, I can bring additional artists to ensure everyone is ready on time without feeling rushed.
  • What if I don’t usually wear much makeup?
That’s absolutely fine My approach is all about enhancing your natural beauty. I specialize in soft, romantic, and timeless looks that feel comfortable and still look like you—just elevated for your special day.
  • Do you travel to the wedding venue?
Yes, we’re a fully mobile service! All pricing includes travel up to 20 miles from LE67 3TL for both the trial and wedding day. Locations outside a 20-mile radius will incur a mileage fee of 55p per mile (two-way). Travel exceeding 45 minutes (one-way) will incur an additional £5 per 45 minutes (return journey).
  • Do you offer touch-up kits or stay for touch-ups?
I offer a fee sample kit for the bride, full sized lipsticks etc can be purchased though me at a discounted rate. Please see additional packages on my price list for touch up / change of look services.
  • How do I prepare for my trial or wedding day?
Come with a clean, moisturized face and dry clean hair. I'll send you a form a few weeks before your trial to get you thinking about your look, and feel free to wear white or something similar to your dress colour for a better visual. For the wedding day, we will discuss any pre needed one the day of your trial.
  • Do you offer a trial session before the wedding day?
Absolutely! A bridal trial is included in all bridal prices. Trials typically take place 1–3 months before the wedding. Other bridal party members are welcome to have a trial, however this will incur an extra fee.
