I would like to say a huge thank you to all of my clients so far this year and all those to come. It's a pleasure getting to know each and every one of you.
I just wanted to do a quick post explaining my booking and refunds policy for anyone thinking of booking in the future as i have had a query or two about it in the last few weeks.
When my brides book with me i ask for a booking fee and i send out a contract that needs to be signed and returned to me. This booking fee and contract ensures that your day is booked into my diary and that no one else is able to book me on this date. The contract is there to protect both myself and my brides if any unforeseen circumstances arise. As with most booking fees, this fee is non refundable. I will however refund or transfer to another date (where possible), with sufficient notice, in exceptional circumstances i.e serious illness/death. I will also be willing to refund the booking fee if i am able to re book the date with another bride.
I encourage all of my brides to make sure that they thoroughly read through any contracts that they may get throughout wedding planning, to ensure that they know exactly where they stand with all of their suppliers. All professional suppliers will provide you with a contract. They are not only there to protect the suppliers but to protect you too.
I also recommend that you purchase wedding insurance in case the unexpected happens.
I hope this helps anyone planning to book with myself or any other supplier.
I look forward to hearing from all of my future brides!
